There is no greater gift for me than to pour the beauty I’ve encountered in my life onto a creative canvas to share with the world.

Every painting begins with a moment—a quiet sunrise filtering through the pines, the graceful flight of bluebirds across the Arkansas forest, the shimmer of light on water, or the peace found in God’s creation. My hope is to preserve those moments on canvas so they can be experienced long after the day has passed.

I am Teresa Hunt, an American contemporary artist, author, and poet. Raised among the Piney Woods of East Texas and now inspired by the forests and lakes of Hot Springs Village, Arkansas, I have spent a lifetime observing the beauty of nature. Those landscapes continue to shape every collection I create.

Working primarily in abstract, contemporary, and nature-inspired styles, I paint with movement, texture, and layered color to evoke emotion rather than simply recreate a scene. My collections include expressive florals, tranquil landscapes, wildlife, angels, modern abstracts, and inspirational works influenced by faith.

Writing has always been as natural to me as painting. My love of poetry eventually led to publishing children’s books inspired by my granddaughters, Piper and Londyn. Whether I am writing or painting, my purpose remains the same: to create work that offers beauty, hope, peace, and lasting meaning.

Each original painting is created in my studio with professional materials and careful attention to craftsmanship. I believe original art should become part of a family’s story—something that brings comfort, inspires conversation, and is treasured for generations.

My greatest inspiration comes from God, whose creation continually reminds me that the most extraordinary masterpieces already exist around us. Through every brushstroke, I hope to honor that gift while creating artwork that brings light into your home.

Thank you for supporting original art and for visiting my studio.
